Uniqlo to open a new store in Issaquah

Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo will open a store at 10 a.m. Friday at Issaquah Commons. It will be the brand’s sixth store in the Seattle area; the others are located in downtown Seattle, Bellevue, Tukwila, Lynnwood and Tacoma. To celebrate the opening, the first 200 customers who make a purchase Friday will receive a certificate for a free breakfast treat.

The first 200 visitors on each of the three days — Friday through Sunday — will also have the chance to receive a Uniqlo shopping bag filled with exclusive gifts. Customers who spend more than $99 over the weekend will receive a bag featuring an Issaquah design created by Seattle artist Brandon Vosika. The store will also sell other Issaquah-themed items, while performances by Japanese taiko drummers will round out the opening festivities.
