President of Venezuela Delcy Rodríguez held a working meeting with the country’s economic team and the heads of state financial institutions to identify funding sources for the urgent repair of damage caused by the earthquakes that occurred on June 24. The participants also assessed the progress of emergency infrastructure work and the implementation of key areas of the National Economic Agenda.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for raising funds for urban reconstruction projects and social protection programs. The authorities’ goal is to use state resources more effectively in the affected areas and provide comprehensive assistance to the population. The meeting was attended by the heads of Banco de Venezuela, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Central Bank, and the financial division of state oil company PDVSA.
