Delcy Rodríguez Discusses Economic Cooperation with U.S. Representatives

Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez held a strategic meeting with senior representatives of the U.S. Department of the Treasury and Department of State. The sides reviewed an agenda for joint economic development, including strengthening existing agreements in the trade, financial, and energy sectors, as well as measures to stabilize the energy market and resume financial mechanisms capable of supporting Venezuela’s socioeconomic development. The meeting underscored the importance of maintaining direct diplomatic channels to discuss regional stability and hemispheric interests. The U.S. delegation was led by Deputy Assistant Secretaries of the Treasury for International Finance Jonathan Grinstein and for Terrorist Financing Jonathan Burke; Rodríguez was accompanied by Venezuelan government officials responsible for diplomatic and economic affairs.
